Frequently Asked Questions

1Are US and UK men's clothing sizes the same?
For alpha sizes (S, M, L, XL), US and UK sizes are identical. However, for suit sizes and numerical shirts, there can be differences in cut and measurement conventions.
2How do I find my EU clothing size from US?
EU sizes are based on chest circumference in centimetres. A US Medium corresponds to EU 48, which means an 48cm half-chest measurement (96–99cm chest). Add 10 to a US suit chest size to get the European equivalent.
3What does the IT (Italian) clothing size mean?
Italian sizing uses the same numerical system as EU but garments often cut smaller and narrower. An Italian size 50 may fit more like an EU 48 from a German or Scandinavian brand.
4What is FR sizing for men?
French sizing for ready-to-wear (prêt-à-porter) follows the EU numeric system. FR 48 = EU 48. French formal tailoring may use different conventions based on body measurements.
